What to do in the event of an accident?
Make sure your health and life are not in danger, call an ambulance if necessary
Contact a medical institution within 3 days at the latest
Fill in the application and send it to BTA with the necessary documents
We will review your case as soon as possible and notify you of the decision
Additional information and claim documents
In order for us to begin processing your case, please send us a signed statement of damages. In addition to the application, the following are required:
1. Medical documents (EMO Patient Card, extracts from Patient Portal www.digilugu.ee, etc.), indicating the exact diagnosis and duration of treatment
2. When applying for medical expenses (if you have insured medical expenses): documents certifying medical expenses (invoices, checks, copies of payment orders, etc.)
3. When applying for a daily allowance (if the daily allowance is insured):
Tax and Customs Board certificate of income (net income) for 12 calendar months immediately preceding the calendar month of the accident
A copy of the certificate of incapacity for work or a corresponding extract from the state portal www.eesti.ee
4. Report of an accident at work if the accident occurred at the workplace or in the performance of work duties
